    unlocking MC8790V

    Hello All,

    I would like to unlock 2 or 3 MC8790V cards. What hardware do I need for this ?

    Anybody has any experience with this : http://www.hwtools.net/adapter/USBMS-D.html

    You can try to connect them to notebook and then try to unlock.

      Next steps

      OK , I got the adapter and connected it to my Windows 7 laptop via USB.

      The issue is that now I need windows driver for the MC87980V but cannot find any publicly downloadable.

      Anybody ?

        Try to install various versions of connection software (sierra watcher). Maybe any of them will have drivers.
