My Sierra Aircard AC885 Compass GPS cannot tracking.

How to use the GPS function??
My aircard 875u gps is working but my AC885 cannot use.

The Compass 885 doesn't have GPS. Maybe that's why!

That's odd because there's no such thing as an AC885u. There is a Compass 885 which according to Sierra doens't suppot GPS, see here:

Look for TruLocate (that's the GPS support) Only listed modem is the AC880/1U

There show only AC881U/AC880U have truLocate.
But my ac875 can use the gps function.
I already try AC875U/AC880U/AC881U.This 3 model have gps function.

If the device don't have GPS.
In the sierre wireless watcher don't have the GPS button.
Later i will upload the picture.

My aircard 875u gps is working...

I was not aware that the 875U (Qualcomm MSM6280 chipset) was capable of supporting GPS - Which firmware version does your 875U have installed and did you install any additional firmware to make it GPS enabled?

The Qualcomm MSM7200 chipset does support GPS (Qualcomm GpsOneŽ technology), which can be found in the embedded modules MC8780 & MC8781 - These modules are also placed within the AirCard's 880U & 881U and with the correct firmware can be made GPS enabled.
The possible reason why the 885 is capable of GPS (with firmware upgrade???) is that it uses the MSM7200 chipset too!

Wrong:
I can ENABLE GPS function on 885U as well.
The problem is that I never get a fix.
So MAYBE the gps is supported in firmware but it misses the ANTENNA.
NMEA data port activates but send "searching" messages.
