HP-rebranded Sierra Wireless MC8775 vendorID and productID reset/modify

Is it possible to change/modify/reset the vendorID and productID for HP branded (HS2300) Sierra Wireless MC8775 modem to generic Sierra Wireless MC8775 module?

Device reports VID/PID 1008/7709 which is HP HS2300, I would like it to report VID/PID 4505/26642 - any help would be appreciated.
