i have upgraded my c120 modem with the standard firmware and now it display - NO Service - for all cards the device was sim-locked to Mobinil Egypt - please i want any way to get my device back to life .

What is the reason for upgrade the firmware?Where did you get the firmware?

I have upgraded the firmware to unlock sim-lock but now it is locked for all networks - upgraded from

any way to restore it again?

You can not unlock the modem by upgrading the firmware.Thats impossible.You said now it's locked for all networks,whats the error you get when you put the sim?

Exactly this occure after booting the DC .. blue LED turns red , connection manager say NO Service - red led means Error (SIM card missing or failed verification) - when trying to manualy select any network flashing red led means No coverage .
but i can set PIN code and it asks for it so i can deal with sim card but can't authenticate sim card to the netwok
note: SIM card Tested and working very good

Did you try to unlock it by DC Unlocker?

yes it gives something like " device not found"

Yes bcoz Dc Unlocker not yet supported this model.They will support this model soon.Therefore do not try to upgrade the fimware for unlock the modem.Firmware upgrade is not safe.

I have same locked Bandluxe DC from MobiNil and can't find any way to unlock it


but i got new USB modem Hawuie E160G from Etisalat , it is by only 300 EGP now , and i made unlock it for it and successed and it is working on all SIM cards now
