For correct ZTE modem detection, please plug modem with invalid operator SIM inserted. Wait till software starts the modem, close ZTE software and then you can detect modem with DC-Unlocker.

Do you see modem in device manager under modems and ports sections?

Sorry, no.
I could only see the modem listed as mass storage and could not find it under port. Could it be the MF821-"D"-component that makes trouble ?

If you see it under usb mass storage, then it should be visible in my computer area under cdroms, try to eject it from there and check device manager again if it appeared differently. Make sure to install everything that comes along with your device to pc.

How to unlock MF821D

I did as you told me, ejected the mass storage from my computer and then it disapeared from device manager for a short while before it automaticaly came back. It did not place itself otherwise.
I tried this on both windows 7 and windows XP. It only took more time on the xp computer.
When I tried to unlock it before, - in the middle and after this insident with the device manager but I only got the same result: modem not found.
When I insert the modem in windows 7 computer I could clearly that the modems driver did install themself, - ...but not still no luck :-(

Then maybe there are more modems/phones connected to pc, or maybe your are using mf821d for the internet? Maybe it appears elsewhere in device manager as well, like under network adapters lines?

I finally got attached the picture I earlier sent you by mail.
It's correct as you say, - you can see it's listed under nett as "Remote NDIS based device".
But there are only wireless nettwork connected to the pc because Dc-unlocker needs it. Nothing else. Using mf821d for internet is not possible before it's unlocked(?)

I have now tried excatly to do as you have told me but this is not working !
The dc-unlocker only return with the same statement whatsoever. I have disabled both mass storage and network card but the ZTE is not detected by the program dc-unlocker. I have now used many hours on this but the program is not handling this modem.

After you have disabled it from those lines it should have appeared differently in device manager otherwise it won't be detected? Please contact us by live support chat to check more about this device.

How to unlock MF821D

After it has been disabled from the lines it appears on, it is not detected any other way in the device manager. After it has been removed from the lines in the device manager, it is imidiately detected as mass storage again and if the drivers for the modem is present, it automatically restores the driver again.
I have a strong feeling that the person who produces the answers, is not the the person who has made this program.
If you have no valid soulution to this problem I will counsult the soulutions-center at Pay-Pal.

Then it might be that device has something new in it that normal MF821 doesn't have, therefore it doesn't detect now by dc-unlocker. Unfortunately but without device in our hands we won't be able to check more about it.
