What lock status you see after detecting modem? Is there original or other provider sim inserted at detect time?

yes. the following are info given without and with, yet the unlock botton does not give any info. if i insert a different card the message given is: ENTER UNLOCK CODE. INSERT THE CORRECT SIM.

So even when now modem is detected with Lock status: Locked (PH-NET PIN) the unlock button is still not active?

Unlock button should be active if modem is detected with lock status as Locked. Maybe modem is not connected to pc at that time, have you tried to redownload software aswell? If you insert sim into modem, make sure it is one that does not work with it, only then detect device.

this is the message given After i insert the SIM that does not work.when i click enable cd-rom modem, the unlock button becomes active, WHEN I CLICK ON UNLOCK BUTTON IT BECOMES UNACTIVE WITHOUT GIVING ANY MESSAGE.
