Hi Can I unlock new ZTE MF96 hotspot router. That is new LTE t-mobile router

Could you try to detect it by dc-unlocker and copy here what is detected? If modem detected, then we would be able to check more and maybe we would be able to unlock it.

It said modem was not found and I got all drivers installed

if you got windows Vista/7 or greater try this: run our software as administrator, by clicking right mouse button on DC-Unlocker -> Run as... and select "run as administrator”. Also do this: right click on DC-Unlocker > Properties > Compatibility > Run in compatibility mode with windows XP.

After you connect modem to computer, do you see it in device manager under modems and ports sections?

In what sections of device manager you see ? What windows version do you use? Maybe there are more modems connected to computer at detect time?

The MF96 is not in modem section, or in com & port section, it is in the network category and detected as T-mobile ethernet wireless device...

Make sure device is not connected to internet, has invalid/not original sim inserted in it and it's wireless is disabled.

Is there any success attempt before this MF96? I mean previous wifi router modem from ZTE, maybe MF61? Thanks

It is not listed because it's not yet officially supproted for unlocking, but if you could detect it we might find a solution to unlock it. MF61 is supported for unlocking and many customers unlocked it.

If your device - mf96 appears in my computer under cdroms try to eject it. See if anything changed in device manager.

the point is this modem is not having ports, it always detected as ethernet adapter, how can we make dc-unlocker detect it?

no option to turn off wifi, it always has 2 functions, ethernet adapter and wifi hotspot, i already inserted not accepted card in, and still it is not detected (because dc-unlocker always search for COM, this device only has ethernet port)

I can confirm the problem. The device does not create any virtual COM-ports, so the only COM ports I can select are those from my bluetooth software (and completely unrelated to the MF96)

However I still wonder whether it is worth it to unlock the MF96 as it seems to support only a few frequency bands.
