What version of dc-unlocker you have installed?

If you can not detect modem, check this:
Make sure all drivers are installed.
Make sure modems connection software is installed, but not running. (if there is one)
Use Autodetect on dc-unlocker “select model” line.
Make sure modem is not connected to internet.

What windows do you use? If you use Vista,7 or greater windows then try to run dc-unlocker as administrator and then try to detect the device.

Go to device manager and see under what lines your device appears? Maybe there are yellow "?" or "!" next to it?

Try to detect your device manually, by selecting its model fro mthe list, then delete application port number and enter COM23 in diagnostics port box, try to detect it then.
