ZTE 633 BP+ Installed software & unlock

Hi,
I have the 633 with overiding software installed within the modem which restricts the use of alternate APN information and is configured for Telstra/Bigpond only. Is there a generic software alternative?
Also DC-Unlocker confirms my modem is locked, I assume unlocking is fairly straight forward upon me buying credits.

Yes you can use write dashboard option in the DC Unlocker client.Download generic dashboard from here http://www.dc-unlocker.com/downloads/open/55

Thanks for info on "JoinAir" which I have downloaded, but I still have an outsatnding issue. I have two 633BP+ one locked the other one unlocked according to DC Unlocker. When I fire up "JoinAir" amd try to connect with the "unlocked" modem I cannot configure correctly for a connection other than Telstra or Bigpond. When I do a search of available APN's I'm advised that Vodaphone and Optus are disallowed. which gives me the impression that the modem may still be locked. Is there something I have missed??
