  • is my ZTE MF60 really unlocked?

I've used DC-UNLOCKER to unlock my ZTE MF60 modem.

In status of DC-UNLOCKER it appears unlock.

But i've just tried a VODAFONE sim and it just don't leave the unconnected status.

AND I CAN'T USE IT WITH OTHER NETWORK. SO MY QUESTION IS IS REALLY MY ZTE MODEM UNLOCKED?

HOW CAN I BE SURE IF AFTER SPENDING 7 EUROS IN CREDITS AND MORE 5 EUROS IN A NEW SIM CARD I CAN'T USE THIS TO CONNECT TO OTHER NETWORK?

AND IS THERE ANWAY TO CHANGE THE WEBGUI OF THE MODEM? IT STILL APPEARS THE TMN BRAND. COULD THIS BE ANOTHER LEVEL OF LOCKING CONTROL, BESIDES HARDWARE?

    Can anyone help me?

    thanks

Yes it might be so that current webgui does not support other cards, if you can't change connection settings (create/edit profiles). To make sure that your device is unlocked insert not original/invalid sim to device and then run detection by dc-unlocker, if it will say sim lock status: unlocked , then it means that your device is not locked.

      Zte mf60.

In this case some questions must be presented to you:

1- does dc-unlicker unlock the modem for all the networks or just for the one which i used a card. for what I've understand it was for all networks.

2- if this modem, beside the hardware lock, as other levee of locking, namely, trough the webgui how can I replace it?

When i insert the new sim, and it wasn't the one I used to unlock, the webgui recognize automatically the APN settings. Nevertheless it stil does not connect to internet.

      What can be happening really,

Thank you for your he anyway

        1. after unlock device is available to use with other network cards not onyl one that original card was related to.

        2. have you tried to set APN settings manually? create/edit new profile etc? If its not possible in current webgui, you might need to write new firmware to your device. Or use it with unbranded connection manager like JoinAir.
