You get apn settings from the provider that you try to connect to. So you need to contact them about settings.

      Thanks Valdemaras for your patience.
OK getting the gist of this now.
Problem I am having is that when I get into the modem options
it doesn't allow me to change anything.
As soon as I click on an option it refreshes almost immediately
back to General settings and then keeps refreshing so I a hard time even reading the setting let alone changing them.
I have tried but it doesn't allow me.
I have put in the original Telstra sim to see if that makes a difference but it doesn't.
I am setting this up so I can use an overseas sim in a few weeks.
I have a vodaphone sim just to test the process.
I thought once it was unlocked I could use it without going into changing things.
How come some people just got it going with changing APN's??

Ok have solved one problem...the constant refreshing was solved
by logging on to chrome and not Internet explorer ahhhhhhhh.

I have also found out the sim is not a broadband sim so will go out
and buy a proper one (oops) and check in later to let you know how I went.
