For correct ZTE modem detection, please plug modem with invalid operator SIM inserted. Wait till software starts the modem, close ZTE software and then you can detect modem with DC-Unlocker.

If there is not original/invalid sim inside the device and it detects with unknown lock status then unfortunately, but device might be damaged and software shows corrupted information. If possible try to insert different card to device, make sure its inserted correctly dsee if it always detects as unknown lock status.
