  • ZTE MF70 Not being detected

    As the title suggests...
    Exact procedure I am doing:
    1) Plugin MF70 (locked to telstra) via USB port (with Optus sim in it, not telstra)
    2) Open DC-Unlocker
    3) Select ZTE Modem from drop down list
    4) Click on the search button
    5) Result:
    Code:
For correct ZTE modem detection, please plug modem with invalid operator SIM inserted. Wait till software starts the modem, close ZTE software and then you can detect modem with DC-Unlocker.

    DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.1024
    Detecting modem :

    selection :
    manufacturer - ZTE modems
    model - Auto detect (recommended)

    modem not found !

Please go to device manager and check if your MF70 appears under Modems/Ports lines, maybe there are "?" or "!" next to it?

I have looked at the various threads and followed most of the advice and can still not get DC-unlocker to see the MF70.

I have uninstalled the modem then downloaded and installed the drivers from https://files.dc-unlocker.com/backen...62AB3E0D409A36

      ...and still get the message

      DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.1005

      Detecting modem :

      selection :
      manufacturer - ZTE modems
      model - ZTE MF70

      modem not found !

and logically, the problem is still there as shown in the devices, even though the drivers are OK

Just about ready to give up.
