fail to unlock K3565-Z

I tried to unlock the (french SFR / vodafone dongle) but I got this error message... any suggestions?

Check, if the connection software is closed and not other software related to modem is running. Try restarting dc-unlocker software and unlocking again.

I played around with the diagnostics port a bit (used different ports and suddenly it worked! The modem is not detected automatically but you can find the applications port by looking in the modems setting in windows. You have to hard select the modem type and then try the different com ports for the diagnostic port till you get the correct result (luckely the dc unlocker software is smart enough to only charge you for a succesfull unlock!
