Use ZTE MF61 from T-mobile in India

Hi

I have an unlocked ZTE MF61 from T-Mobile. I want to use it in india with Vodafone. I inserted the Vodafone SIM card (tried with BSNL too) & the modem is just searching for network(s).

Do i have to flash this modem with a different firmware for this to happen? If so how can i do it? OR can i use it with any other provider in India?

ZTE MF61 Strange Issue

Dear Sir,
I have bought T-mobile ZTE MF61 from ebay, The device is completely unlocked. I am using it. The problem is that device is not able to receive or send SMS. Rest everything is fine. Now when i Check the modems detail in advanced after logging in It shows "" Software Version WEB_MF60V1.0.1B06

Firmware Version BD_MF60V1.0.1B05
IMEI --- its blank.

Is it that this modem is unlcoked/flashed with MF60 flasher?? what is the solution now? Messaging is important to me because i am using prepaid sim. And on certain usage we receive messages that how much data is used and left. i ll be very thankful if you can solve this or suggest something. The modem detects in DC-Unlocker and says " This modem cannot be unlocked"

Please check sms settings. Maybe sms center number is not entered or is invalid.

Thanks for the reply, but i have tweaked every settings.. service center number is also correct.

Try to reinstall the device on pc, check if your firmware supports this service. You should also double check the sms settings and check it with network provider as there might be still mistake involved in it.

It might be so that it got damaged during flashing if it was done to it, yes. You get this message on dc-unlocker most likely because there are wrong drivers installed for device. Uninstall device completely from pc, then try to install these ones - https://files.dc-unlocker.com/backen...EAFD5F9258C1B7 after installing connect mf61 to pc, make sure it does not install drivers from itself or web.

Thank you very much for the file. Are you sure this will work. Its MF60 file and mine is MF61. And when i downloaded it , its just a Simple file without extension. I mean could you pls tell what extsn is it? DLL ,EXE or ?????

You need to extract the file when you download it, and double click on it to run setup. Nothing special. And yes, it works for MF61 as tested with other customers.

Thank you. As soon i started Installation it shows Chinese language. which is out of my understanding. Are you sure you have sent the correct file.

Yes, file is correct. Yes, it is in chines, but buttons to press are same as in any other installer.

Well, i did an installation. but nothing happened.. and DC unlock-er client still cannot detect modem. And i still cannot send or receive messages. Could you pls suggest me a Flasher?
As i think modem drivers r disturbed somewhere.
