ZTE MF 631 Tata Docomo 3G

Dear Helpers

I have unlocked ZTE MF 631 tata docomo 3g dongle via dc unlocker, But after unlock successful when I insert card with BSNL the dialer not open automatically and when i manually open dialer its show please connect data card
I can send sms with BSNL card with tata docomo dongle but how to load dialer when i insert sim and how to surf internet, please tell me

Have you changed connection settings for another card to work with your modem? Also if you use branded connection software/dashboard it might not be functioning with other operators card, in this case you should try to use modem with Join Air - generic, not branded connection software for zte modems.

Thanks for quick reply, I have installed join air but i can send only sms, there are only sms sending receiving options, which another Join air software i have to download, please send link,
how to change firmware and dashboard, do u have any idea

Have you set correct APN settings for another card to work fully with your modem? Dashboard of the modem can be changed by dc-unlocker client:

1. Start DC-Unlocker software.
2. Detect modem.
3. Click on "Read dashboard". Your current dashboard will be read. (You will be able to write it back if write dashboard fails or it will not work).
4. Click on "Write dashboard".
5. Select dashboard file you want to write.
6. Click "Write".

many many thanks for reply but when i insert my dongle, its ask driver. But before unlocking when i insert in any pc the installation start automatically, so how to set automatically installation when i insert unlocked data card in other PC

Maybe that another pc has automatic startup is turned off? If so then cd drive should be visible in windows explorer (my computer/computer) area, where you will be able to launch installation manually.

I can not see drive in my computer also,
I have taken this steps before unlock
insert locked dongle --> it will install automatically dirver and dialer --> download DC unlocker --> unlock successful -> Sim change --> insert in other pc --> but no drive seen or automatic installer not started--> then plug in that PC where dialer installed before unlock, --> here its shows insert U sim --> now my question is
why in other pc it not installl autmatic and ask for driver
and why in my current pc its shows insert U sim

Maybe that another pc has automatic startup turned off? Thats why installation does not start, check in device manager if your modem appears there in some way. You should be able to manually install drivers for it from there by directing to location where join air software was installed.

Please be more specific on what window it shows that you need to insert usim? Is sim present in modem? Please be more detailed.

I have Tata Docomo MF631 3G dongle and I have recently unlock with DC unlocker software. I have successfully unlocked but when I put Airtel sim in unlocked dogal than unable to open dongle dashboard page.please help me how to connect dongle with other sim.

detect modem on dc-unlocker, in unlocking tab press disable diagnostics com port, then reconnect modem to pc.
