Vodafone ZTE 3806-z unloking problem

Hi! I am trying to unlock Vodafone Italia ZTE 3806-Z modem with Zte ICERA unlocker client v. 1.0026.This is my log:

Is there a sim card inside when you try to detect it?

I am try with sim card and without. Problem persists

If you try with both - with sim/without sim and it is detected and unlocked on software "Lock status" line then it means modem is not locked. Note, there should be invalid sim inside - not vodafone one. If you insert other operators sim and you still get lock status as unlocked then modem as mentioned is not locked.

modem does not work with SIM cards of other operators. reports that the card is not recognized but works fine with Vodafone sim card

Well if modem was detected as unlocked with not vodafone sim inside it then it is definitely not locked. You probably use your modem with vodafone dashboard which does not operate with other network cards, therefore you get this message that card is not recognized. Unfortunately but we do not have non branded dashboard/connection software for zte icera modems yet.

No, it won't work with zte devices.

If I install only drivers for this modem and cancel the installation software from Vodafone, can I use the standard Windows tools to create a connection manually?

You can definitely try it, but there is no guarantee that it will succeed.

Thanks for your help. I know my ZTE k3806-z is unlock but i need a solution to go further as i can't use it with Vodafone dashboard and i can't find another dashboard or another firmware. Only Vodafone firmware. Thanks for any help
