  • ZTE M91 Modem not found

I am trying to unlock a Telstra ZTE M91 Modem. I am running the unlocker software as an administrator but still get the modem not found message.

    DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.1084

    Detecting modem :

    selection :
    manufacturer - ZTE modems
    model - Auto detect (recommended)

    Enabling ZTE modem driver... OK
    Waiting for ZTE modem...

    modem not found !

I have previously unlocked a Huawei mifi and that worked well. the IMEI is: 861722011831804 and apparently I need a 16 digit unlock code.

    Many thanks

Please check in Device manager for where do you see mf91 there, write here full names of the lines that belongs to your device.

Sorry I'm not too good at this, is this what you mean??

This was from the Telstra Device information when connected through the device.

      Device Info
      Pocket Wi-Fi Type:MF91 Software Version:T03
      IMEI:861722011831804 Hardware Version:MF91-1.0.0
System Up Time:1 min, 5 secs WebUI Version:T03
      SIM Card Info
      SIM Card Status:SIM_READY

Part of the issue seems to be that now my computer cannot locate the device unless it is connecting through wireless.

No, i mean in device manager, check on internet how to access it on your computer as it depends on windows that you have.

If it appears in device manager only as network adapter check thise:
Does device has cdrom/drive in "Computer" area. If it does try to eject it.
If MF91 is still not detected afterwards try to disable that line of it from network adapters that belongs to mf91. It should either pup up under modems and portsl ines or under Other devices with "!" or "?" marks.
This means drivers are not correctly installed. Drivers available on our support area page which is accessed from dc-unlocker software.
After you correctly install it, device should be detectable.
