I got this problem

For correct ZTE modem detection, please plug modem with invalid operator SIM inserted. Wait till software starts the modem, close ZTE software and then you can detect modem with DC-Unlocker.

You must restart device after unlocking it by removing battery. Also make sure to check device with sim card that has pin code on it enabled. Access web ui of device, enter pin code, then device should recognize network successfully.

2. Also make sure to check device with sim card that has pin code on it enabled -- It no longer uses PIN, I've removed it
3. Access web ui of device, enter pin code, then device should recognize network successfully -- The Web UI doesn't display login page,instead it displays "This device is network locked. Please insert correct USIM".

The problem persist

Finally, after quite some time, the trick is this:
1. Turn the device ON
2. The signal color will be Red (That means the USIM is not recognized)
3. Open the back cover
4. Without removing the battery, press the reset button for 10 sec
5. The indicators will stop blinking except the battery indicator
6. It will restart itself
7. The signal color will turn green (means 3G)

Note: Reset button action will restore the factory settings

Device must be installed on pc before detection process.

many thanks, it worked fine, it is green now, however, no internet access, it seems i have to find out the APN setting as I'm in Saudi Arabia

Yes, you are right. To have internet you need to enter new provider settings - apn, username and others.
