ZTE MF28D - failed. and no subnetmask showing.

Hello, please advice what to do...
I have set IP manually in router gui, since factory reset gives it 192.168.0.1, NOT 192.168.32.1
is it kaspersky 2014 that could cause problems. perhaps..

Yes, antivirus/firewall may cause problems detecting these routers.
How much time do you wait before detecting router after connecting it? You need to wait 1-2 minuted for router to be ready and only then to detect.

i have tried this with kaspersky off, and in failsafe mode also.

its wondows 7 ultimate 64 bit. and the router is from the danish telmore ISP. and it has 192.168.0.1 per default factory reset. NOT X.32.1.
i wait atleast 1 minute also.

Does anyone have an original ZTE firmware to try to load to the router ? perhaps this can solve the issue.

I have tried to update it with the swedish firmware DL_MF28D_COMVIQ_SE_EUV1.00.01 from the COMVIQ isp, but the update utillity cant connect to the router either..

Maybe you could try other computer? Not 64 bit windows version?

tested it on 2 other computers.

one laptop and a stationary.

For correct communication with MF28 router, please configure router's network adapter to manual IP address 192.168.32.120 !

problem solved....

the firmware from telmore an danish ISP wan not locked!

so a factory hardware reset with! the sim inside, solved this issue.

its like forgetting to put in the Rj45, when you have an engineering degree..
