  • ZTE GSM modem not connecting to network, "The sim card is not supported"

Hello, amazing forum and software. I recentely bought an "unlocked" KPN zte gsm modem.
When I run the software that came with it, it outputs this error:
"The sim card is not supported. Please contact your operaor for more information."

Can you please help me, maybe with flashing or changing the imei, I dont know
why this is happening. Here is more information

    Found modem : MF190
    Model : Unknown ZTE modem
    IMEI : xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx
    Firmware : BD_MF190TLF3V1.0.0B04
    SIM Lock status : unlocked

    Thank you for your response.

You get correct lock status on software only when unsupported operator sim is inside it, If it still indicates that it's unlocked means you need to use unbranded dashboard with your device - not original one.

      Hello,
I tried with different sim card and no luck, it outputs the same error:

"The sim card is not supported. Please contact your operaor for more information."

I bought three of these KPN modems, I asked the seller and he said the modems were unlocked.
What could it be the problem ?
      Thanks for your reply
