Help! My mtn mf190 ZTE modem reads "NO (U) SIM"

I didn't buy it, found it in an old box. Tried to use it, but it accepts no sim card at all even with an MTN sim card. It seems to be unlocked because i scanned it with DC unlocker. I am not sure if it was DC unlocker that was used to unlock it previously, now its locked permanently. This is the result from the scan

Correct lock status shown with unsupported operator sim inside. If it does not read any sim it may be hardware problem too.

We definitely do not know if it can be repaired if it's hardware problem, we do not have such solutions. What i meant device lock status on software is shown only when it has unsupported operator sim inside it. So if it had unsupported operator sim inside when you did detection and it shows SIM Lock status : unlocked then it's not locked at all.

OK. What do you advise me to do now? Can the modem still work i should just dispose it and get a new one? Can i flash another firmware and dashboard?

We do not have suggestion for repair as we do not have such service. It is up to you what you decide to do with it. As every modem, this one should be flashable/updatable as well though do not see a reason for it.
