"First universal unlocking product worldwide." - does not mean we have or make generic connection softwares, clearly. Device is not locked regardless of what you consider, it shows in it's data that it is not locked to any network. This is generic dashboard available on the internet https://www.dc-unlocker.com/file-lis...ZTE/MTS_Russia best of luck.

I am disappointed.
DC-Unlocker is advertised as- First universal unlocking product worldwide.
I remain unable to use this device with any other SIM card other than originally supplied.
I do not consider it "un-locked".
Please refund my 7 euro.

Then device is not locked, probably only dashboard/connection manager you are using is branded and customized to recognize only 1 operator sim card. You need to find generic one that works with other operators as well.

Detect again on DC-unlocker with unsupported operator sim inside it, see it's lock status, if it shows unlocked then make SIM card is compatible with device and check APN settings are correct for connection to work.

Have tried a Smarty SIM (Three UK) and a PlusNet Mobile SIM (EE UK) but both of them give "NO SIM or SIM Card invalid" in the UI. The original O2 SIM is recognised, but I have no credit on it!

Just tried
Disabling ZTE diagnostic port ...
No response !
I I now have the UI and can see it in Files/Folders.
Now to try a non o2 SIM.

MF823 Now corrupt? OR?
Purchased a MF823 from eBay. DC-Unlocker confirmed it was locked. Packaging is from O2 UK.
Installed on W7 PC. Icon for http://o2.4gdongle/ created. I was able to browse the UI, and tried different SIM’s and configs before doing a factory reset. I was also able to browse the USB file system using Windows Exporter.
Paid my 7 euro and:
