Australian ZTE626

Could I contact an Australian who has successfuly unlocked a Telstra ZTE626 modem. I think this may help me to get past the block that I keep on getting. Thanks if anybody can help.

what is the connection manager software you use to connect the modem?

Amelie, how do you connect now you are unlocked with the 636. I have successfully unlocked my 636 & have a working virgin sim but can't connect. It keeps on wanting to register with bigpond.

I have tried the "ZTE 622 not customised" dashboard with no success although it shows as having full HSDPA service ability. I just get the message "could not connect with remote computer" & no error number.

"could not connect with remote computer" - is a connection settings problem. You should check, if you use the unbranded (not customised conenction software).
