Tried every thing, and nothing working, its not detecting at all

If you cannot detect modem, check this:
Make sure drivers are installed.
Use latest DC-Unlocker client software.
Use Autodetect.
Make sure modem is not connected to internet.
Make sure modems connection software is turned off.
Try restarting your computer.
Try other computer.

it is not detecting the modem at all, so i cannot read or write the dashboard

Can try to write by dc-unlocker, but I am not sure if it will work or will work good.
Detect modem. Then select read dashboard. You curerent dashboard will be readed. You will be able to write it back if write dashboard fails or in does not work. After that select write dashboard. Select dashboard file you wqant to write (dashboard file to write you can download here: http://www.dc-unlocker.com/downloads/open/55) and click write.
If the written dashboard does not work, write back original dashboard.

Use any sim in k3805-z dongle

I connect with any sim using this connection manager:

install the dongle as usual. close the vodafone lite connection manager then intstall the O2 manager above.

then setup a profile for your particular sim.

Connect!!!

this dongle(k3805-z) is not actually locked in the hardware it is locked by the dashboard. i have installed 'O2 connection manager 8.5.4.475'. setup the profile for t-mobile and giff gaff and it works fine. you have to let vcm install the drivers as normal then use o2 to connect. any sim!

i have seen quite a few guys selling this item as unlocked and accepting any sim, i manage to spoke to one of the guy and he said, Practically this modem is UNLOCKED, but the vodafone Software does not support any other sim card, how he is selling is, he is including a extra CD which have a other Dialer (software) in it,
please guide me if any knows better
