  • ZTE MF626 - software can't detect

I have a problem with unlocking zte mf626, modem installed successfully, manager working correct, but dc-unlocker can't detect modem for unlock, on xx.528 software said 'card not found' on older xx.416 there is unknown error. I switch to manual mode, set ports correctly but not worked, same problem. I thought that was a driver problem but when I connect MF100, software working correctly. I tried on other PC but not working too. Maybe somebody can help me? I think problem started after Globe FW Upgrade installed, first was successfull, but second piece not worked, SW detect port but can't start upgrade.

If you can not detect modem you should check the fallowing:
Check, if the drivers are installed
Check, if the connection software for this modem is closed and modem is not connected to internet
Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software
Check, if you use latest dc-unlocker software version.

I checked it before and it was ok. Drivers are ok, connection manager working fine, only dc-u can't detect. Only MF626s are invisible, MF100 working ok. I don't know what's wrong, I don't have other tool for ZTE. Maybe is any freeware tool for dashboard changing???

Does original software see the modem? Also, is other zte modem connected to computer when you are detecting?

Yes, ZTE original manager working with modem fine, not simultaneously of course. I tried to work with this model all Sunday, and DC-U software detect com ports used by modem, can write (read too, I think) dashboard, but can't read info about and unlock. I don't know what's wrong. Once in a hundred worked fine (detect MF626, show locks info) today. I don't need to use DC-U for unlocking 626 right now because I only needed it to write dashboard, but problem is still present. And there is only one device connected.

Could you try on other computer? Where no other usb modem drivers are installed.
