  • MF112 Unlocked but still can't connect

    Hi,
I have an unlocked mf112 from 3N (dc client shows the status with the other operator's sim). I just updated the orginal 3N dashbord with the one from the site.
It finds the networks and is able to send/receive sms. But when I try to connect it always fails. I've checked the sim with another huawei modem that I have and it connects without problems so this is not the sim card/account issue. I've tried in both the GPRS and HSDPA modes and results are the same.
So, any suggestions of what can be done to fix this? May be some other manipulations are required like changing the modem firmware or something?
    Cheers,

What conenction software do you use? Is it branded (customized by provider)? With unlocked modem you need to use not customized software and enter your new provider conenction settings (APN, username and others).

Thanks, it was the phone number missing. Is there a way to add the profile on the dashboard itself?

Once you added it should be there. You do not need to add it again.
