trying to unlock payg vodafone k-3570-z

no vodafone software installed
vodafone virtual cd removed
Device manager shows - ZTE Proprietary modem
Join air - connects - findes invalid sim
shut down join air
load DC- unlocker v.0597 which displays

detecting card :

manufacturer : ZTE Modem
model autodetect (recommended)
unknown error (118)

what am I doing wrong?

Be sure all drivers are installed.
Be sure nothing is blocking dc-unlocker.
Check, if you have enough rights on computer (are connected as admin).

fixed the problem and was able to unlock my K3570-Z

solution

ck ports in Windows Device Manager and then manually entered correct Com # in DC-Unlocker --- then DC-Unlocker worked as promised

I don't know why they were not detected but once manually entered the modem was fully identified and could be unlocked
