  • ZTE MFA627 - unlocked?!

    --------------------

Question: Is my Modem unlocked? I never unlocked it. Just once I updated the firmware with the update from the ISP Homepage.

So I really wonder about my diagnostics:

    (Any idea?)

    --------------------

If I open the software I use to connect to the internet the following is diagnosed:

    DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0597

    Detecting card :

    selection :
    manufacturer - ZTE modems
    model - Auto detect (recommended)

    Found modem : MF627
    Model : ZTE MF627 (SmartBro)
    IMEI : XXXXXXXXXXXXXXX
    Firmware : BD_3GHAP673A4V1.0.0B04
    Compile date / time : Dec 21 2009 10:28:37
    Chipset : Qualcomm MSM6246
    NAND Flash : SAMSUNG_K9F1208
    SIM Lock status : unlocked

If I'm connected to the internet and run the diagnose the following is in the console:

    DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0597

    Detecting card :

    selection :
    manufacturer - ZTE modems
    model - Auto detect (recommended)

    modem not found !

    -------------------

Well and as I tried to put another SIM it shows it's locked...

Unlimited space to host images, easy to use image uploader, albums, photo hosting, sharing, dynamic image resizing on web and mobile.

So why your diagnostics says unlocked?

Can I still use your software to REALLY unlock?

So that if I change the SIM the Dialog on my attached Screenshot won't appear?

    Regards...

    followupmsg

i put in the title zte mfa627...of course its just mf627.

and i found out i have to insert the sim of a different provider and then diagnose to show up "locked"....

    2nd. thing - the modem firmware is..............b04!

I found here (last msg in the thread), that the b02 might be unlocked, but the b04 not??? PLEASE CLARIFY so I can be sure to buy credits. (would there be a refund if its not working?)

Could you write full firmware version? I would check, if it can be unlocked.

This version can not be unlocked by dc-unlocker. Write me your username and if you have bought credits from us we will do refund.

I am on the same situation as qaywsx. I bought 2-credits hoping to unlock my two modems: a Huawei E153u-2 and a ZTE MF627. Why put these brands and models in your list of supported modems if in fact they are not?

Fist: There is no such unlock price in our unlock price list as 1 credit per modem.
Unlock price list in credits you can find here: http://www.dc-unlocker.com/buy/user_prices
Second: E153u-2 is other modem, not same as E153.
Ok, write me your username and if possible will do refund.
