  • Debranding Problem VODAFONE 3565Z

    Hi People,

    i would like to debrand my Vodafone 3565-Z USB 3G Stick. I tried to use the actual DC-Unlocker. When i enter Select Manufacturer ZTE and select Model ZTE Modem i get the message :

    ================================================== ======

    For correct ZTE modem detection, please plug modem with invalid operator SIM inserted. Wait till software starts the modem, close ZTE software and then you can detect modem with DC-Unlocker.

    DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0629

    Detecting card :

    selection :
    manufacturer - ZTE modems
    model - Auto detect (recommended)

    modem not found !

    ================================================== ===

    If i use the following ZTE Phone configuration i receive this Log :

    DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0629

    Detecting phone :

    selection :
    manufacturer - ZTE phones
    model - Auto detect (recommended)

    Model : _Unknown ZTE phone_
    IMEI : 353462044209034
    Firmware : BD_P673A2V1.0.1B10
    Compile date / time : Nov 09 2009
    Chipset : Qualcomm MSM6246
    NAND Flash : HYNIX_HYG0SGH0MF3
    User Lock Code : 0000

    Can anybody please tell me why the modem reacts like it does and is it ok trying to debrand the stick in this matter as a ZTE Phone ??

    Best regards

    Need to detect as ZTE modems, not phones.

    If you can not detect modem you should check the fallowing:
    Check, if the drivers are installed
    Check, if the connection software for this modem is closed and modem is not connected to internet
    Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software
    Check, if you use latest dc-unlocker software version.
