Check, if the drivers are installed

Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software
Check, if you use latest dc-unlocker software version.

What is written there under modems? In what sections of device manager you see phone also? Are there any other modems or phones connected at detect time?

Hi,
I am facing same problem. I can see the phone connected in the port section in device manager 1.ZTE Handset Diagnostic Interface (COM134) and 2. ZTE Handset NMEA Device (COM135) ports. In modem area it shows ZTE USB Modem 6000 this is on (COM133). I try auto detect and even select the different ports.

HOW DO I CHECK IF THE PHONE SOFTWARE IS CLOSED?
Thanks
Try to remove all other zte devices drivers.
Then do restart and install only for this phone.

Ok I restarted my machine and plugged the USB cable into another port. All drivers installed fine. Now the ports are 40 and 70. New error now I select auto search but phone not found. When I select com40 and 70 at the bottom left corner of software a message comes up saying "collecting phone data" and freezes. The program does nothing else. I am going to install an older version of DC_unlocker and see if this solves my problem.

Remove all zte drivers. Disconnect zte modems if are connected. Or try to use fresh computer where no zte drivers are installed.

I now think I have tried everything best to my knowledge. I have even installed it on a fresh laptop with windows 7. The program still just shows "collecting phone data" and freezes. I downgraded to an older software version 1.00.0575 and all remain the same. Please advise me of further steps
