Help: problems after unlocking

Please help me out! I had my Rogers MF668 Unlocked, but there were some problems when I backup the original dashboard, it said "Dashboard not present in modem !". So I decided to upgrade by writing the first image file to Dashboard_Windows&MacOS_generic (File size: 25.8 MB). But it did not work either.

It seemed that I am having another problem, dc-unlocker cant recognize modem. I have tried all combinations of using original dashboard or Join-air, the device manager shows ZTE Proprietary USB Modem. But dc-unlocker only see it occasionally,maybe one or two times. and also my Modem is displayed as a USB storage once, with Rogers original dashboard software inside.

Please help me out.

Sorry, it may be that reading dashboard function does not work for this modem.
Try to install only original dashboard and driver. Uninstall all other drivers and connection software. Then restart computer and try detecting again.

Is the orginal dashboard universal for any ZTE modem? I downloaded package from my service provider Rogers, which contains a ZTEMODEM.iso file. I am wondering if I can use this one if I get the problem in writing new dashboard, so I can still roll it back.

For two dashboard ISO files you provided, one is 25.8MB, and the other is 11.53MB, can I use second one because of its size. My problem was:

You are right, the problem is that you have too low space to write dashboard. And you are right that you could write the smaller one. But DO NOT write new dashboard until you get Reading Dashboard done in success.
