  • ZTE (Vodafone) K3520-Z bricked?

Greetings everyone. I would like to 1stly say, im honoured to be part of this forum and i hope i will get the best out of it. 2 days back i downloaded dc unlocker and unlocked my vodafone k3520-Z. After doing so i tried putting in a different sim but it didnt connect. I was using the Mobile Connect dash. I tried unlocking again and i accidently clicked on enable diagnostic port..now the dash wont recognise the device. I got other dashboards like ZTE MF622, which recognises the device and shows signal and operator but it still wont connect. Is there anyway i can resolve this issue. Any help will be highly appreciated. Thanks

If dashboard see network and registers to it, then you only need to enter connection settings in order to use it and connect.

For correct ZTE modem detection, please plug modem with invalid operator SIM inserted. Wait till software starts the modem, close ZTE software and then you can detect modem with DC-Unlocker.

        DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0620

        Detecting card :

        selection :
        manufacturer - ZTE modems
        model - Auto detect (recommended)

        modem not found !

So sorry for taking long to reply. i have the modem connected as is and its still not recognized by the original dash..the ZTE dash detects it but wont connect to the net. il upload the pictures tomorrow. thanks again.

You need to create new profile with new provider connection settings and will be able to connect.

Morning guys.. I inserted my USB modem in another laptop and what i found was that it was missing a driver. When i clicked the installing device icon, it said P671M8G1VDFALL driver not found. The modem blinks in red by the way. Could this be the problem of my device being un identified? And if it is, then where can i get the driver coz i tried searching for that P671..on google but no results where found.
            Thanks

Yes, if there is a driver missing, it may be the problem why modem is not found. Drivers should automatically install when you plug in your modem. However, you can try to download drivers from modems manufacturer website. Otherwise, you should try other computer, maybe drivers from your modem will be able to install automatically there.

Or also you can try this method:
                1. Go to Device Manager, find your modem.
                2. Right click on your modem and choose Properties.
                3. Click on Driver tab.
                4. Click Update driver.
                5. Choose Install drivers automatically (Recommended) on XP, or Search automatically for updated driver software on Win7.
