I unlocked my Vodafone K3570-Z but I flashed the dashboard a few days later. I can't use paypal so I got friend to flash it for me, so it took some time to get to him. The modem's supposed to mount as a cd drive first and let the user install the software but in my case it's not showing the dashboard, it directly goes to the modem hardware installation abd fail if I don't install the drivers from an external source (my phone's sd card for now). How can I restore the Dashboard?

Did you read dashboard before installing new one?Originally posted by SilverDragon24 View PostI unlocked my Vodafone K3570-Z but I flashed the dashboard a few days later. If not, then you will not be able to restore your older dashboard. The only way is to find the original dashboard in internet and write back it.
If yes, then you can write back your older dashboard using DC-Unlocker.

Then use your older dashboard, as you can see that the newer one is not working correctly on your modem.Originally posted by SilverDragon24 View PostI have the old dashboard and I restored it and flashed it again but it isn't showing the dashboard part at all as if there's no dashboard on it but I can still read it and flash it from dc-unlocker.

The older one doesn't work too... Its not mounting as a CD-Drive at all. before modem installation. Is there a way to restore the device to the state in which I bought it, any kind of firmware flash maybe...
P.S I've never even tried to flash firmware before so I'll need every instruction I can get...

Did you try to uninstall all modems drivers and try to reinstall them again?Originally posted by SilverDragon24 View PostThe older one doesn't work too... Sorry, but DC-Unlocker does not change/flash firmware.
As I know, if you want to change firmware, you have to download it and install it. Thats all.
But we do not recommend you to flash firmware, especially if you are going to do that for the first time, because if flashing fails it can damage your modem.

I've tried it on vmware (Win7 Ultimate, clean installation). I connect the modem to the virtual machine and it goes directly goes into the modem installation and fails if I don't install drivers from the host. Even tried it on new computer, same problem... I don't know what to do.
Even Thinking of flashing firmware scares me a little but can anyone give me the k3570-z vodafone firmware from their locked modem? I have the VMBLite dashboard.

The instructions from the thread worked and didn't work at the same time... This is strange, The modem mounts as CD-drive and works as a modem at the same time both functions are working at the same time. It worked but I wasn't expecting this... Not like its a problem I just want to know how it happened. I just ran the command AT+ZCDRUN=F
