If you can not detect you should check the fallowing:
Check, if the drivers are installed
Check, if the phone software is closed
Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software
Check, if you use latest dc-unlocker software version.

I am having the same problem with my Orange Atlants (=ZTE f160):

        DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0949

        Detecting phone :

        selection :
        manufacturer - ZTE phones
        model - Auto detect (recommended)

        Phone not found !

I cannot view the contents of the phone through My Computer either. All I can see is a folder named Autoplay and some autoplay-related files.

Is it possible that Orange have installed some means of blocking access to the files on the phone, I wonder, because I also have a Nokia and I can view all the files on it?

        Any suggestions please?

        Grant

Thanks for your speedy reply, Vincentas.

I am sure I have done everything correctly and with the appropriate drivers, version etc., but I am a bit confused by your suggestion "Check, if the phone software is closed". You see, as soon as the phone is connected to the USB port on my PC it boots up into charging mode and that cannot be changed as it continually reboots if switched off.

            Would you please clarify?

            Thanks!

I mean software that installs from phones.
Phone must be turned in normal mode. Not charging.
Do you see phone in device manager under modems and ports sections?

Thanks, that sorted it! I had to remove the new SIM card and restore the Orange SIM temporarily then it worked perfectly.
