hi frndz i have a problem dc unlocker cant detect k3570-z...
dashboard installed.. when modem pluged vodafone software starts.. cant detect dc unlocker..whats the prblm.
If you can not detect modem you should check the fallowing:
Check, if the drivers are installed
Check, if the connection software for this modem is closed and modem is not connected to internet
Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software
Check, if you use latest dc-unlocker software version.
i checked . everithing is correct. but not connect.
my laptop detect this modem and i can install vodafone software.
but my pc detect modem and showing vodafone dashbord.i cant intstall when i double click nothing happens
I will write a step-by-step procedure how to make your modem detected with DC-Unlocker.
1. Make sure Vodafone connection software is installed but not running.
2. Go to Task Manager (right click on Taskbar>Task Manager>Processes) and find if there is no Vodafone processes running. Its name can be "MobileConnect.exe", "VMCService.exe", "VMBService.exe", "mdm.exe", etc.
3. If you find any of these processes, select it, click "End process".
4. Wait for 20 seconds and check again if the process appeared again in Task Manager.
5. If yes, then do this:
6. Go to Vodafone software installation folder (usually its C:/Program Files/Vodafone).
7. Find the exe file with the name that you killed in 3rd step.
8. Right click on it>Cut.
9. Go to Desktop, right click>Paste.
10. Now open Task Manager again and find the process name again.
11. Select it, click "End process".
12. Launch DC-Unlocker
Manufacturer: ZTE Modems
Model: Autodetect.
13. Detect again.
14. Unlock.
If still "Modem not found !", do this: (make sure you did everything above)
1. Go to Device Manager (right click on My Computer>Properties>Hardware>Device Manager").
2. Open "Modems" section.
3. Right click on "Vodafone Mobile Broadband Modem (ZTE)">Properties>Modem.
Find what COM port it uses.
4. Open "Ports" section.
5. Find Vodafone Mobile Broadband Diagnostics port (ZTE).
Find what COM port it uses (COMXX).
6. Launch DC-Unlocker.
7. Select:
Manufacturer: ZTE modems
Model: K3570-Z
Application: COM port that you found in 3rd step.
Diagnostic: COM port that you found in 5th step.
8. Detect again.
9. Unlock.
When the modem is detected you can unlock it.
When the modem is unlocked, make sure that you put back the exe file from desktop to Vodafone installation directory.
