  • Do I have an already unlocked USB modem

    Hi guys,
This is my first post over here, my friend has given me Reliance's 3G modem for unlocking and I have searched the net and finally found this application to unlock ZTE MF190, I don't any other 3G SIM to I just inserted my BSNL (2G) SIM and set the _Auto Detect (Recommended)_ in select modem and hit search, here are the results:
operator SIM inserted. Wait till software starts the modem, close ZTE software and then you can detect modem with DC-Unlocker.

    DC - Unlocker 2 Client 1.00.0460

    Detecting card :

    selection :
    manufacturer - ZTE datacards
    model - Auto detect

    Found modem : MF190
    Model : Unknown ZTE modem
    IMEI : 355435046869409
    Firmware : BD_MF190V1.0.0B05
    SIM Lock status : unlocked
When I see the "SIM Lock Status: Unlocked" I was surprised, does it mean that I already have an unlocked 3G modem?

If at detect time there was not original (sim from other provider than modem) sim inserted, then your modem is unlocked.

Thanks, I have inserted BSNL SIM (2G) in Reliance 3G USB Modem and the report I have posted was with BSNL SIM in Reliance 3G USB modem. I just wanted to be sure as my BSNL SIM was 2G only and yes its connection manager was showing "Cell One" written on the window as well and showing the BSNL network as well.

Now I can be sure it is unlocked.

      Thanks once again mate.
