Make sure modem is not connected to internet.
Make sure modems connection software is turned off.
Try restarting your computer.
Try other computer.

1. Make sure Vodafone connection software is installed but not running.
2. Go to Task Manager (right click on Taskbar>Task Manager>Processes) and find if there is no Vodafone processes running. Its name can be "MobileConnect.exe", "VMCService.exe", "VMBService.exe", "mdm.exe", etc.
3. If you find any of these processes, select it, click "End process".
4. Wait for 20 seconds and check again if the process appeared again in Task Manager.
5. If yes, then do this:
6. Go to Vodafone software installation folder (usually its C:/Program Files/Vodafone).
7. Find the exe file with the name that you killed in 3rd step.
8. Right click on it>Cut.
9. Go to Desktop, right click>Paste.
10. Now open Task Manager again and find the process name again.
11. Select it, click "End process".
12. Launch DC-Unlocker

14. Unlock.

If you can not detect modem you should check the fallowing:
Check, if the drivers are installed
Check, if the connection software for this modem is closed and modem is not connected to internet
Check, if you use autodetect function in dc-unlocker software
Check, if you use latest dc-unlocker software version.

Select it, cut and paste on desktop. Here is explanation.
