When I looked at the connection manager it says that this modem is a ...

MF626i




Could this be some sort of '' Fake ''

Ive tried several different connection managers and they all say its a MF626i

I got it from the internet


any ideas Please

Could you also try to detect it with DC-Unlocker? Then we will be sure about the modem model.

its saying the unit is a MF626i

The packaging shows a MF668A







inside the slid off top says ... MF668A





and a MF626i looks like this ( totally different to a MF668A )




not too sure if its wise to publish the full IMEI number

I'm even more confused now , any ideas please

Apparently, your modem is MF626I. But that does not mean its fake.
There might be these options:
You have MF668A modem with MF626I firmware inside modem.
Manufacturers made a wrong sticker with model name.
Spoilage
Fake

1. 900Mhz frequency

2. 850Mhz Frequency

Both work well , which leads me to think that its some how a MF668A

HSPA+/HSDPA/HSUPA/UMTS/WCDMA 850/900/1900/2100 MHz


still a mystery

Maybe MF626I also supports same bands.
Anyway, I am not sure about it, maybe these two modems are exactly the same ones.
Well, but if your expectations are reached, then there shouldn't be a problem for you.

The Modem is working fine , at first just my suspicious mind working over time
