How could I use the stick with a different sim?
The Vodafone Mobile Connect tells me: Please insert the right sim
and denied to connect me with my chosen provider through the sim ....

What you dont understand? purpose of inserting different sim is to detect the sim lock status correctly.Just close the mobile partner before use the DC Unlocker.Originally posted by loa44 View PostComment

I am new at the unlock biz so be patient please. I dont understand the system of simlocks.
Simlock is on the stick, right ? DC-U should show me the right status of simlock with any sim even without a sim, right ?
If DC-Unlocker (use the K3565-Z with O2 sim) says: sim lock status : unlocked it must be possible to use the stick in the o2 network, right ?
What kind of software could I use for dial in to the net of my sim-provider ?
I tried mwconn but it fails with error: comport not available even it is.
Or is there a story with a netlock ? Could it be that the stick hasnt a sim but a netlock ?

To see the real lock status you need to insert wrong provider sim (not original provider sim). If the lock status is still unlocked, then you do not need to unlock your modem and can use it in any network. If the modem is unlocked, you need to use not customized connection software with it. install it, enter your ptovider settings and conenct.Comment

I have the same issue with the Vodafone ZTE K3565-Z.
I tried the "not customized" software on the link you provided, but that is for the MF622, maybe that's the reason it doesn't work.
I did put in a non original sim card in the USB modem and dc-unlocker showed it as unlocked. The Vodafone software says: Please insert correct sim.
So I'm thinking I need the correct "not customized" software for that modem. Anywhere else I can get it?

The drivers of the dashboards for all the other ZTE modems (MF622, MF626, MF627, MF628) are definitely incompatible with the K3565-Z. So you can only use the dashboards from other ZTE modems if you install the drivers for the K3565-Z separately.
However now there is an modified ISO image for the K3565-Z, which contains an unbranded dashboard and drivers for the K3565-Z, which will be installed automatically with the dashboard.
