    ZTE MF190 How do I write (.exe) Firmware to Dashboard?

    Hello ZTE Gurus,

    I'm having problems with my branded ZTE MF190 modem as it does not recognize HSPA signals anymore, so I thought of changing the firmware (debranding it) by writing an unbranded firmware to the dashboard. I downloaded the Beeline RU Firmware update from**.* but I am having problem writing it to my dashboard as it is an executable (.exe) file and my dc-unlocker client software states that: "Only ISO files are supported for Dashboard" and it seems there are no firmware in ISO file format here.

    I've not flashed a modem before could someone also pls tell me how to use the "Read Flash" button on the dc-unlocker client software? What is the Flash Address and how do I get it to enter it in the 'Address' field provided. Also the size of the Beeline RU firmware is not in the Size filed (the size drop down arrow). Also what is 'hex' pls?

    I would be grateful is someone could guide me on how to debrand my ZTE MF190 modem using the dc-unlocker client software version 1.00.0857 pls.

    You get this error, because you try to write firmware update file as a dashboard to modem. If you have firmware update file, you need to run it (install).

    This function is not to flash modems. It is to read data from modem, not flashing it. Anyway, it is not working and you will not be able to use this feature. DC-Unlocker cannot flash modems.

    We can only offer you to write dashboard to your modem with DC-Unlocker.
    You need to download correct ISO dashboard file, make a back up of your original dashboard (use "read dashboard"), and write the new dashboard to modem (use "write dashboard").
    Or, you can only download other, unbranded connection software and use it.

    JoinAir software should be working also.

      I downloaded http://www.dc-unlocker.com/downloads/ZTE/Software but its labelled ZTE MF 622 not customized software. As I mentioned my modem is ZTE MF 190. Can I still use this firmware with my modem?

        Yes, this software should be working with your modem also - it works with many ZTE modem models.

              Hi, i want to know what software can i use to flash the modem ZTE MF190, i want to backup and rewrite it, because i want to change the frecuency of conection, i have my modem from europe and the frecuency in americas is different so i cant connect.

              Please if you know about some software to flash firmware please tellme.
