When you say invalid, use a gsm one instead of a cdma one right?

What i have done is unlock my cdma modem using the dcu software and it says it is unlocked on the status.

        What I have done:
        1. used invalid SIm to unlock using the dcu software - status say it is unlocked.
        2. can't add the new connection access / settings on the original cdma connection software, so I installed a new connection sofware (generic) but it will automatically remove the original one..hence no driver for AC30. Generic software wont install the AC30 driver. and i cant find the driver anywhere else.
        3. tried to do a reset and also and end user update tool.

The main problem is the generic connection software do not have a driver in it.

i have a same problem with the same ZTE AC30 modem from Smartfren, Indonesian CDMA provider.

when i use a GSM card into this mifi, it says the network is locked! please input key to unlock the network. where should i get this unlock key?

also try the dc unlocker, so far this is what i got

          found modem : ac30
          model :zte ac30
          IMEI : 000000000000000
          firmware : +C GMR: BD_SMFAC30V1.0.0B06
          compile date / time : x
          chipset : qualcomm
sim lock status : unknown (read failed)

how can i get the IMEI number? because this device use MEID instead of IMEI.

          any clue guys??

If you do not see imei it may be that your modem is damaged. Sorry, you can not unlock modem if it does not have imei.
Try to detect with not original sim card inserted. Maybe this will help.
