Where can I get its connection manager that supports USSD?
I have one and really need it unlocked without bugs, I am wondering if work on unlocking it is ongoing coz I don't want to end up selling it. I would like it universal. Is unlocking free or costs (how much)?

Sorry, do not know the prices of modem unlock until it is supported to unlock.
No, Huawei connection managers does not work with ZTE modems.

I'll wait for them and just really hope that when they succeed, it will be far cheaper to flash it than to get an unlocked different brand with equivalent features on ebay
