      No

No, i just hit detect and after the detection i hit unlock. The modem restart and after that keeps searching. How to proceed? Im using a working sim card and on the router panel i can see the number, but none signal.

Did you set correct connection settings after unlock? APN, login, password, other settings?
        Please double check them.
Also, check if there are no "2G only" or "3G only" selected in settings.

Yes, i setup a new apn, login password, but the problem is that is no network available. I put the network in manual and the modem search for some signal, but he cant find any signal. In the automatic mode, keeps searching, and the manual mode the same problem. Im not talking about no connection, but no signal of cellular here. My location is very good cellular coverage for 4 carriers, but i cant get the signal of one of these carriers.

I saw an update in the ZTE website availabe for my modem. Worth a try? I bought this modem in april 2011. The update was released in January 2012.

Then my suggestion would be to try to update firmware of your modem.

I tried to update to new firmware and the same issue.
The latest firmware was installed with no problem, the modem restart several times during the process, but not different happen.
The SSD and password was reset, but the same message, searching.
I tried to put the manual signal, and they give me no choise options.

Try other firmware version. Maybe this will help.
