Invalid pointer operation

Hello,

i've a trouble with DC-UNLOCKER, i'm an old customer, and i haven't used this software for about 2 years, and today, i've installed the lastest version, and when i connect the dongle i receive this pop up with the error "INVALID POINT OPERATION".

If i disconnect the dongle, the software open and work (so, with limitations).

I've WIN7 64, but i also tried to install the software on XP machine, with the same problem!

What i can do?

You connect dongle/modem or dongle like dc-unlocker dongle? Try to connect it after you launch software if its modem. Reinstalling modem might help.

i have DC-UNLOCKER USB DONGLE branded UNIKEY, if i connect the dongle after software startup it's not recognized.
The dongle seems to work correctly, the green led blink during drivers installation and solid at the end.

The system install the dongle like an HID interface.

Do you get same error with previous releases of dc-unlocker as well?

Ok, i've tried a version 1.00.0616, and ALL WORKS FINE!!!!

May be a software bug?

Now i have to verify up which version my dongle work.

Ok, a little summary:

version 1.00.1057 - give the message CHECKING DONGLE and after a bit give me INVALID POINTER OPERATION

Version 1.00.1045 to 1.00.1005 give the message CHECKING DONGLE, ad after a bit...nothing happens.

version 1.00.0987 and previuos.......ALL WORK FINE!

What's the problem?

Please try to run DC-Unlocker as administrator by clicking right on program icon, then select "run as administrator" from menu and check if it runs normally afterwards.

Try to connect dongle to different usb port, also try to uninstall dc-unlocker and install to different location.

I have tested the dongle with another pc running Windows xp....and make me the same error!

I dont know what i can do to resolve this big issue!

I have checked more on our side, and it seems that this particular error comes up only when dc-unlocker is already running in processes, you can end this process via task manager, then try to run our software.

Well, i start dc-unlocker after the OS boot up, and give me the error, and after this.......the process hang and i have to kill manually from task manager.

I think that the problem is an incompatibility with this old key by the new software!

Could you write your dongle serial number? Serial number that software writes.
