  • Vodafone B2000 alias B593u-12 HELP!!!

    Hi,

I have recently bought a Vodafone B2000 router from Vodafone.de
It has LTE 800/2600mhz frequencies. The router is factory unlocked but have vodafone.de firmware and software.
The router model number is B593u-12

Can I flash this router with other firmwares for unlock other frequencies?? (such as Telekom Speedbox, 3Web Gate, unbranded b593u-12, etc.)

I need it to use at 1800mhz LTE. (Unbranded factory unlocked B593u-12 is work in all LTE frequencies)

Please share all firmwares that you have for this model!! B593u-12

    Thanks for help me.

I flashed the Speedbox LTE with "Generic" firmware (V100R001C00SP052). Works fine also with 1800 MHz band but I can't say if it would be same from "Vodafone" version.

I need "Deutsche Telekom" firmware (V100R001C55SP0XX) because I want to sell it in original condition.

Okay. I dont have Original Telekom.de firmware yet.

The unbranded factory unlocked version of B593u-12 works LTE 800,1800,2300,2600mhz.

The branded versions of this router works only frequencies that are used in country of origin. BUT if you debrand the router it will unlock all the frequencies. Its only depends on customized firmware I think.

I bought Vodafone B2000 factory unlocked from ebay before christmas. I did not get it already so I cannot test it yet. This is a Branded version of B593u-12 Rev. B which will operate LTE 800,2600mhz. I need 1800mhz because in Hungary telenor and T-mobile also works in 1800mhz.

At the top of the page big letters. It is LTE CPE b593??

            Thanks

How much is your Telekom router? What price would you like to sell?

                  I dont know. I think all b593u-12 supports UMTS,HSDPA,DC-HSPA+
b593s some models only supports LTE network.

My main problem is Vodafone B2000. ITs a branded b593u-12 which supports only LTE 800/2600mhz. Im in Hungary and I need 1800mhz for LTE.

I think if I can falsh my router with unbranded firmware, all LTE frequencies will be used.
If somebody have result please let me know or share here.

                    @feherhollo:
Sorry for answering so late. It is "LTE CPE B593". Even the VoIP menu is accessable since flashing from "Telekom" to "Generic" firmware. But the two RJ11 connectors on backside (left from four LAN ports) are covered by special Telekom housing.

1800 MHz and 800 MHz are working (Deutsche Telekom). Cannot test 2600 MHz (only very few spots are covered in Germany).

What do you mean with "backfoward support 3g"?

Today I got my Vodafone B2000. I try it with Branded Vodafone D2 Software. It worked for me with my Telenor HU USIM card. Only DC-HSPA+ network is available. I ran speedtest and 18mbps/3.2mbps the results.

I flash it with the unbranded firmware. Now its LTE CPE b593 is the model and 192.168.1.1 is the login with factory "admin" login password.

I try the Only LTE band but no luck. No network and no connection with this setting. I dont know its my router version fault or I dont have LTE coverage at my area. The branded Vodafone B2000 uses 800/2600mhz for LTE.

I need 1800mhz because in Hungary only 1800mhz is used for LTE. I hope this debranded firmware will unlock all frequencies. The Vodafone D2 version have RJ11 ports.

I think the word " backward "is better, means support old 3g network.
I have huawei cpe B593-82, but it only support lte, no support 3g network.
I ever flash Sweden Telia firmware, but it also not support 3g network
                        I will try b593-12 firmware.

b593-82 supports only LTE with all firmware. Its not software related problem. Its hardware. b593-82 motherboard supports only LTE even you flash it with any firmware.

                          b593u-12 supports GSM,EDGE,WCDMA,LTE,HSPA+,DCHSPA+

LTE CPE b593u-12 is the factory unlocked version.
Vodafone B2000 is the branded LTE CPE b593u-12
Telekom Speedbox LTE is also branded version.
3Webgate from Drei.at is also the branded version.
Telia Sweden version also branded. ETC.

All this is the same b593u-12 with same motherboard supports 3g+lte.
Frequencies only depends on customized firmware I think.

Here is my results for the LTE and unbrand question for all.

I have Vodafone B2000 LTE router (B593u-12) which I bought from German Vodafone network. The router has German branded firmware and uses 900/2600mhz for LTE with the branded firmware.

Now I unbranded the router with the Generic B593 firmware. Now my router is B593 LTE CPE model and this unlocks all LTE frequencies. Now LTE works and running flawless in 1800mhz.

So all B593u-12 model has the same motherboards and if you unbrand it you can use it on any country in the world.

Be careful B593s model is different!!! Not the same motherboard!!!!

You can use the modem AT commands ask that supports frequency
For example, the Huawei E398 result:

                              Order:
                              AT^SYSCFGEX=?
                              Answer:
                              AT^SYSCFGEX=?

                              ^SYSCFGEX"00","03","02","01","99"),((2000000400380,"GSM 900/GSM1800/WCDMA900/WCDMA2100"),(280000,"GSM850/GSM1900"),(3fffffff,"All Bands")),(0-2),(0-4),((c5,"LTE2100/LTE2600/LTE1800/LTE900"),(7fffffffffffffff,"All Bands"))

                              OK
