Yes, youj can. But I can not be sure that it will help as something already done to modem by other software.

Not all EC315 unlocks, after unlock not possible to change R-uim settings.

Yes, we are aware of this error, if you have more information on it you can let us know. CDMA modems possible to unlock while not customized firmware is in them, unless you have other methods you can share with us.

It asks unlocking code. And calculator exists to generate unlock code via MEID(don't have one, but my partner generated me one for this modem with no problems). After inserting unlock code this modem EC315 becomes unlocked. Please create the same calculator.
