Hello, I am a newbie on this forum ...
I have exactly the same problem as CNX_MyX, I bought three days ago an E5832 Huawei in an Orange store in France ....... (what a pitty !!!!).

Can anybody post here or upload his driver files from a working Model of E5832 ?

I would be very pleased of that !

    Regards.

if any huawei drivers are installed before 583x drivers then the diagnostic port and modem port will not be installed, on a clean computer the modem will be detected correctly...

yes, there is no wifi connect or anything on the Virtual Drive, just drivers...

but there must be a way to flash it and get it to work.

              Try to check here:http://www.dc-unlocker.com/forum/showthread.php?t=1896
Try to use other drivers provided there.

thank you, but in order to flash, debrand, unlock the modem HAS to be recognize by windows first.

I have the Aplication Interface, but not the UI or the Modem part.

I disabled the WIFI, did a factory reset... .but still nothing.. this one is Orange Spain.
Will be making some tests, trying on a fresh windows

Try to install driver provided in link I sent you. Maybe this will help windows to recognise it.

I've called Orange France in order to unlock my Huawei E5832 (bought 6 months ago, so now they have to give me the unlock code for free)... and their answer was amazing : it's impossibile to unlock these devices !!

So it seems that there is no solution fot those who bought the E5832 (now called "The Domino" by Orange France) from Orange (because there is no way to get them to work on USB, this feature was disabled).

I am in the same bad position as mine is a Domino as well. If I remember correctly they HAVE TO disable the lock after 6 months - even for free. So we should forcefully demand a solution!

Or do you have a solution already?
