E303 Voice activation

I have an E303SS-65 that I wanted to activate voice on. Now aside from the issues on this forum and the fact that Live chat informed me that you can not activate voice on the e303 I have done so without even using this site or tools thereof.

THE E303 DOES SUPPORT VOICE as I read on a Russian forum.

Furthermore the "advice" offered on the chat of this forum was also inaccurate in that the driver required for the firmware update mode in Windows will NEVER install unless you edit an inf file and add the USB ID of the modem when in firmware upgrade mode.

here is how

Use

Go to http://192.168.1.1/html/switchProjectMode.html (this will make the USB Serial Ports avialable to use AT commands

followed by AT commands to put modem in serial mode


Edit the file ewser2k.inf (mine on 64 bit system was at C:\Program Files (x86)\Mobile Partner\Driver\Driver\X64
and in the [QcomSerialPort] (32bit) or [QcomSerialPort.NTamd64] (64 bit) add the following lines

%QcomDevice01% = QportInstall01, USB\VID_12d1&PID_1442&MI_00
  %QcomDevice00% = QportInstall00, USB\VID_12d1&PID_1442&MI_01

Now the next time the modem is switched to download mode, go to device manager and see if the serial port driver installed or if modem show as unknown device Manually direct windows to the location of inf file edited earlier.

Modem will now be ready for flash

Your own software below shows that yes the modem can be activated for voice, and this was done without yoyur advice that did not work and without your tools and despite that you claim you can not activate voice on this modem.

What is your username? If credits not spent during flash attempt then can check for refund otherwise you should read whats written in message box before software launches. We never said anything about e303 not supporting voice. This feature depends on firmware that is in modem.

What you said on chat is that the only firmware you support for e303 does not have voice . when I told you what did have voice you said you do not support flashing that version to my modem.

Credits spent during flashing attempt and according to user software usage agreement and warning messages it is same as was explained in live support chat and here as well.

Never attempted the flash with your software you said you did not support that firmware and driver never loaded for flash mode. I flashed with .exe file from Russian site . you disappeared on our chat after saying you could remotely flash then oops your time was up.

Chat was closed because you did not provide/did not have method to connect remotely to your computer at that time, therefore it was said to download teamviewer or other remote connection compatible software and then contact us regarding driver install issue that you had. And in database it's obviously shown that you have attempted to flash your device.

YOUR database can say ANYTHING you control it. How can I attempt to flash a device that does not have the appropriate driver on the OS doing the flash?

Stop wasting my time with your petty case for 4 stinkin euros. You sell a virtual service you will lose a paypal dispute on that basis. You did not help to install the driver had you I would have gladly give up the 4 euros. You INSISTED the driver could be forcecd and you are WRONG . The truth is I only asked you about drives had you done what I needed (which you ignored) you could have kept the 4 Euros instead you insisted on using your "appeved' firmware and your software which you said did not have voice. All I wanted was to get the driver issue resolved but you DO NOT LISTEN I told you I had firmware from Russian site that supported voice.. You wanted me to have the wrong firmware with no voice so I could pay you more .

If you would have only listened on support chat what was told instead of complaining in every post of yours then you might have solved your problem, now it is as it is and nothing will change, sorry to tell you this.
