  • Huawei p8 lite model PRA-LX1 ---- Manufacture mode to HiSuite mode loop.

Hi, I am trying to unlock a Huawei p8 lite 2017 model PRA-LX1.

I have followed instructions and enabled dev mode on the phone and then dialed the code to access the project menu.
From there I access background settings and then USB port settings and switch it to Manufacture mode.
I then plug the phone into my PC with a USB cable and a popup appears showing the phone on charge mode.
I switch it to data transfer mode.

I use the DC unlocker 2 client to auto detect the phone but it cant find it.

I check the background settings and find that the phone has switched from manufacture mode to HiSuite mode.

If I switch it back to manufacture mode it brings up the prompt showing the phone is on charge mode and if i switch to data transfer it switches to hisuite mode.

Could someone please tell me what I am doing wrong?

I see my mistake is switching to file transfer.

When I run the auto detect it dousnt work though all i get is:

Before detection Huawei Android phones, enable 'Manufacture' mode:
in dial pad type *#*#2846579#*#* for Qualcomm and Kirin based models, or *#*#14789632#*#* for MTK, then select
    'ProjectMenu',
    'Background settings',
    'USB ports settings',
    'Manufacture mode'.

Step by step guide for other Huawei phone unlock:
